What is E-Signature?

rpost logo

Signing your loan agreement by electronic signature is a quick and secure way of completing the paperwork for your loan.

If you are eligible to sign your agreement by e-signature we will inform you when we contact you about your loan decision. E-signature documents are sent as a secure encrypted attachment to your email address. They also require an access code to open them (sent by text message to your mobile).

Why RPost?

We have teamed up with RPost to offer you a fast and efficient way of signing your loan agreement. RPost are one of the market leaders in offering secure encrypted emails and electronic signature software. Their solution is easy to use and secure.

When will I receive my email?

Your loan agreement will be sent to you using the email address we hold on your account. This will be the email address you provided when you last submitted a paper loan application form or change of details form. If you have a new email address please call us on 01142760787. Any new email address will need to be provided on a signed form.

When your email is sent you will also receive an access code which will be sent by text message to your mobile phone.

Not received your email or text?

We usually send out loan agreements for electronic signature between 11am and midday (working days only). If you don’t think you have received your email, please check your ‘junk’ mail boxes before contacting us on the number above. If you have not received the text message containing the access code please contact us.

Signing your agreement

Click the link in the email where it says ‘Click Here’. You will then be prompted to enter the access code to view your loan agreement. Instructions for signing should appear, which will guide you through signing your loan agreement.

Any Questions?

If you have any questions at all or notice anything that looks wrong in your loan agreement, please contact us before signing the document. You can call 01142760787 or email lending.team@sheffieldcreditunion.com. If there are any errors in the loan agreement we will get these corrected and send out a new agreement for you to sign.
