Payroll Deductions - An Easy Way to Save and Borrow

Do you want an easy way to save, or to take out and repay a loan?  Would you find saving easier if the funds were taken out before you received your wages or salary?  Payroll savings may be right for you! 

Step 1 - Check your employer is registered with Sheffield Credit Union to provide this service (see link below);

Step 2 - You join as a member - joining online is quick and easy;

Step 3 - You tell us how much you would like to save by emailing  We will let your employer know, and they may ask you to confirm your agreement to this.  You will then see this on your payslip.

Payroll Loans

If you are wanting to apply for our loan, we have an exclusive Payroll Loan available especially for members like yourself.

You can choose to repay a loan and build your savings from one monthly deduction from your wage. We will split the amounts for you when we receive it.

As your payment is deducted as one monthly payment, your employer will not know whether this is savings, loan repayments or a combination of the two.  This information will be confidential to you.

You don't need to join before applying for a loan - if you apply click to apply for a loan we will automatically set your membership account up, and open you a free Easy Saver account.
