Joining Forces: Sheffield Credit Union and Laser Credit Union Merger 

Hello everyone! we've got some brilliant news to share with our community today. Sheffield Credit Union and Laser Credit Union have decided to merge, bringing together two trusted financial cooperatives that share the same mission - serving you, our members, and our local communities. 

What's happening? 

We're merging to create a stronger, more resilient credit union that can support even more people. It's an exciting new chapter that ensures we'll continue to provide ethical, affordable financial services for years to come. 

Will anything change for me right now? 

Not at all! There will be no immediate changes to how you access your accounts, savings or loans. Both credit unions will carry on as usual with no disruption to services. You can still: 

• Visit your local branch 

• Chat with the same friendly staff you know 

• Use the same online and telephone services

• Your local office will remain open 

• Staff will not be affected - the same friendly faces will be there to help 

• Your account details, savings and loans remain unchanged 

• We'll share more exciting updates as we integrate our services
